Melona Review:-

“It only takes one Melona and you will be hooked for life.

It was 1992 and Biggrae C. Ltd. released the Melona Ice cream popsicle. Children scurried to the local shops, and store keepers struggled to keep up with the demand; Melona ice cream flooded the market. It gripped the nation.

In fact, within the first couple of years of its launch, Biggrae had sold over 280 million bars. An astounding figure for an 80 ml ice pop.

Inspired by exotic juicy melons; Biggrae saw an opportunity to capitalize on a fruit that was regarded as a luxury in Korea. After experimenting with its nearest cousin – the Korean melon- which is yellow and sweeter, the developers attempted to create a similar tasting flavor.

Biggrae eventually found the perfect recipe and then took the Ice cream market by storm. Not only did they find the perfect flavor, but they also found a way to the nation’s heart.

Households up and down the country couldn’t get enough of this addictive, sweet and cheap Ice cream. Children would empty their savings and spend all their pocket money on Melona ice pops during the summer months. No wonder Biggrae was selling millions of bars a year. They had the children hooked.

To this day, the Melona ice cream popsicle is revered by the young and old, and enjoyed by the likes of you and me.

Melona Ice Cream: Appearance.

The Melona ice cream comes in a bright green packet with honeydew melons on the front.

It’s very light to pick up and aesthetically appealing.

The first time I saw the Ice cream, I instantly wanted to tear it open and devour it.

My love for melons is strong.

Just like in the picture, the actual Ice pop is green, thick, and rectangular. It sits fittingly on a wooden stick ready for you to chomp down and suck it up.

How Does The Melona Ice Cream Taste?

Melona has a distinct melon flavor true to its name. It’s smooth to the touch and instantly explodes with its fruity flavor the second it hits your mouth. When I first looked at the ice pop, I thought it would melt in my mouth. However, its smooth appearance is rather deceiving. It’s gently chewy, which I prefer.

I dislike eating ice creams that you can finish in two seconds. I want to take my time carefully nibbling around the ice pop until I hit the wooden stick.

With each chomp, you get a hit of melon flavor. I particularly love the way it combines the flavor of melons with a creamy milk flavor. It’s this combination that sets it apart from its competitors. Creamy, sweet but not too sweet, with the right amount of melon.

Fruity and addictive; this is the only Ice cream you need in your life. You should definitely try it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

Disappointing or Delicious?
